Welcome to the Catalysis for Sustainable Organic Reactions´group. Research in our group focus on developing effective homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts for a better synthetic chemistry. Catalysis is a cross matter in many fields, including organic synthesis and material science, and serves for the understanding of chemistry and how it influences our way of life. The search for potential industrial processes and rational explanations on the mechanisms operating during reaction are also at the core of our work.

Creative thinking and well-conducted ground–breaking science are the fundamental pillars behind all efforts in the group, which ultimate goal is instructing young people for a better future. For that, the Instituto de Tecnología Química (ITQ), a “Severo Ochoa” Excellence Program Center awarded by the Spanish Government, provideus the most suitable atmosphere and facilities in a such nice city as Valencia.
